The project involved establishing a robust underground network through meticulous excavation, backfilling, and the installation of ducts and protective pipes. These measures ensured precise alignment and optimal protection for the fiber optic cables, laying the groundwork for a reliable and high-performing system.
To safeguard the network and minimize future risks, hazard tapes were strategically placed above and within the backfilled trenches. The fiber optic cables were carefully installed using specialized equipment to prevent damage, followed by compacting and restoring the surface to its original condition.
Final inspections and rigorous testing confirmed that the network met all performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. This project provides a solid foundation for modern telecommunications and internet services, emphasizing Geem Contracting’s commitment to quality, innovation, and excellence in infrastructure development.
